Me and my friend Zai Tang had another session yesterday / this morning where we continued where we left off in Session 1.
This time we knew more what we wanted to explore. We wanted to use clusters of shapes - and this time we snapped the shots out on Zai's windowsill. This meant that the underlay was white and there was also a changing background as there was leaves in the upper part of the frame which you can see in the middle of the animation. All the white was removed using keying in Final Cut Pro and the sequence seen is based on just one of the shapes with different varations.
We estimate that we are going to have two more of these sessions before we start the music, so stay tuned for more developments in the next few coming weeks!
